Grammar Rules & Patterns

The '¿Cómo...?' Question Formula ¿Cómo + es/son + el/la/los/las + [sustantivo]? Use this formula to ask for a general description. Use 'es' for one thing (singular) and 'son' for more than one thing (plural). The '¿De qué color...?' Question Formula ¿De qué color + es/son + el/la/los/las + [sustantivo]? Use this formula to ask only about the color of something. Remember to use 'es' for one item and 'son' for multiple items. Adjective Agreement Rule Adjetivo must match the Sustantivo in gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural). If the noun is feminine and plural, like 'las manzanas', the adjective must also be feminine and plural, like 'rojas'.
