Rule of Gender Agreement (Concordancia de Género) Adjective ending must match the noun's gender. Masculine nouns (-o) get masculine adjectives (-o). Feminine nouns (-a) get feminine adjectives (-a). Use this rule whenever you describe a single noun. Look at the noun's ending to help you choose the right adjective ending. For example, 'el plato' is masculine, so we use 'blanco'. Rule of Number Agreement (Concordancia de Número) Adjective ending must match if the noun is singular (one) or plural (more than one). To make most adjectives plural, add -s or -es.
