Grammar Rules & Patterns
Rule #1: Adjectives ending in a vowel (-a, -e, -o)
Adjetivo + s
If an adjective ends in a vowel (like 'rojo' or 'verde'), you just add an 's' to the end to make it plural.
Rule #2: Adjectives ending in a consonant
Adjetivo + es
If an adjective ends in a consonant (a letter that isn't a, e, i, o, u), you add 'es' to the end to make it plural.
The Matching Rule
Sustantivo Plural = Adjetivo Plural
The most important rule! If your noun is plural, your adjective MUST also be plural. They have to be a team.
