Grammar Rules & Patterns

The Main Rule: Adjective After Noun Sustantivo + Adjetivo Descriptivo In Spanish, most descriptive adjectives (like colors, sizes, and shapes) come AFTER the noun they are describing. This is the opposite of English! The Agreement Rule Adjetivo must match Sustantivo in gender and number. Always remember to make your adjective agree with your noun. If the noun is feminine and plural, the adjective must also be feminine and plural.
