Being a good sport is all about how you act during a game. It doesn't matter if you win or lose! When you're a good sport, you are kind, respectful, and fair to everyone playing.Why does it matter? Because it makes the game fun for you, your teammates, and the other team! It's how we make friends and show respect for everyone's hard work.

Example 1 — The Winning High-Five

Your team just won the kickball game! Hooray! It's exciting to win, but a good sport knows how to win kindly.Step 1: Celebrate with your team! Give your teammates a cheer or a happy dance.Step 2: Don't brag or shout things like 'We're the best!' at the other team. That can hurt their feelings.Step 3: Walk over to the other team, look them in the eye, and give them a gentle high-five.Step 4: Say 'Good game!' with a smile. This shows you respect how hard they played.
