What & Why

A team is a group of people who work together to do something. This special something is called a goal.Being on a team is great because you can share ideas, help each other out, and do bigger things than you could by yourself. Plus, it's a wonderful way to make friends!

Example 1 — Building a Block Castle

Imagine you and your friends want to build the tallest block castle ever! That's your team's goal.Plan Together: You all decide to make a big, strong base first.Share Jobs: One friend gets the big blocks. Another friend carefully stacks them. You make sure the tower doesn't wobble.Cheer Each Other On: When the tower gets tall, you all say, "Wow, great job!"You are all working together to reach the same goal. You are a team!

Example 2 — Playing Soccer

In a soccer game, all the players on one side are a team. Their goal is to score more points than the other team.Everyone Has a Role: Some players try to kick the ball into the goal, and others help protect their own goal.They Help Each Other: A good teammate passes the ball to another player who has a better chance to score.They Are Good Sports: Even if they miss a shot, they say "Good try!" and keep playing together.They all want the same thing and help each other get there.
