Grammar Rules & Patterns

Rule #1: Gender Agreement Adjetivo must match the género of the sustantivo. If the family member is masculine (like papá or hermano), the adjective should end in -o. If the family member is feminine (like mamá or hermana), the adjective should end in -a. Rule #2: Number Agreement Adjetivo must match the número of the sustantivo. If you are describing one person (singular), the adjective stays the same. If you are describing more than one person (plural), you must add an -s to the end of the adjective.
