Using 'Ser' for Descriptions
Yo soy... (I am...) / Tú eres... (You are...) / Él es... (He is...) / Ella es... (She is...)
When you describe personality traits that are part of who someone is, always use the verb 'ser'. We use 'soy' for ourselves ('Yo') and 'es' for a friend ('Él' or 'Ella').
Adjective Agreement Rule
Masculine Noun + Adjective ending in -o. Feminine Noun + Adjective ending in -a.
Adjectives are like chameleons; they change to match the person they describe! For a boy (chico, amigo), use adjectives ending in -o. For a girl (chica, amiga), change the -o to an -a.
