Asking About a Birthday
¿Cuándo es tu cumpleaños?
This is the question you use to ask a friend, 'When is your birthday?'. 'Cuándo' means 'when'.
Stating Your Birthday Date
Mi cumpleaños es el [day number] de [month].
In Spanish, the day comes before the month. You always use 'el' before the number and 'de' before the month. For example, 'el cinco de mayo' (the 5th of May).
Using the -AR Verb 'Cantar'
yo canto, tú cantas, él/ella canta, nosotros cantamos, ellos/ellas cantan
To say who is singing, you change the ending of 'cantar'. For 'I sing', you use 'canto'. For 'we sing', you use 'cantamos'.
