What do you picture when you hear the word 'leader'? Maybe it's the team captain giving a speech. But leadership is much more than that! A leader is anyone who positively influences the people around them. Teams need all kinds of leaders to be successful. Some lead with their voice, some with their actions, and some by making sure everyone feels like they belong. Learning about these styles helps you see the leader you already are and the leader you can become.

Example 1 — The Vocal Leader

This leader uses their voice to motivate, encourage, and guide the team. They are great at lifting spirits and keeping everyone on the same page.Scenario: Your soccer team is down 2-0 at halftime.
