Filming yourself is like getting an instant replay of your performance.Why it works:It's Honest: The camera shows you exactly what your form looks like, without guessing.It's Detailed: Slow-motion playback lets you see tiny details you'd miss in real-time.It's Focused: You can pinpoint one specific thing to improve, which is the fastest way to get better.

Example 1 — Shooting a Basketball

Let's analyze a basketball free throw. Your goal is to have a smooth, repeatable motion.Set Up: Place your phone or camera on a stable surface (like a tripod or water bottle) where it can see your whole body from the side.Film: Record yourself taking 3-5 free throws. Try to shoot like you normally would.Analyze: Watch the video back, using the slow-motion feature. Pay attention to your form. Ask yourself: Is my elbow under the ball? Am I bending my knees? Do I follow through with my wrist?Compare: Find a video of a professional player shooting a free throw. Compare your form to theirs.
