Comparisons of Inequality (More/Less Than)
Subject 1 + verb (ser/estar) + más/menos + adjective + que + Subject 2
Use this formula when you want to say one thing has more or less of a quality than another. Use 'más' for 'more' and 'menos' for 'less'.
Comparisons of Equality (As... As)
Subject 1 + verb (ser/estar) + tan + adjective + como + Subject 2
Use this formula when you want to say two things are equal in a certain quality. 'Tan' means 'as' and 'como' also means 'as' in this structure.
Adjective Agreement
The adjective must match the gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural) of the first subject.
