Grammar Rules & Patterns

The Golden Rule of Advice Deberías + Verbo en Infinitivo To give friendly advice, always start with 'Deberías' and then add the infinitive form of the action verb (a verb ending in -ar, -er, or -ir). The second verb never changes its ending. The Negative Advice Rule No + Deberías + Verbo en Infinitivo To tell someone what they *should not* do, simply put the word 'No' right before 'Deberías'. The rest of the rule stays the same.
