Grammar Rules & Patterns

The 'Yo' form of -AR Verbs Drop the -AR and add -O. When you want to say that 'I' am doing an action, you change the end of the verb. For verbs ending in -AR, like 'hablar' (to talk), you take off the -AR and put an -O at the end. Expressing Likes with 'Me gusta' Me gusta + [verb in its original -AR form] To say you like doing an activity, use the phrase 'Me gusta' and then the full verb. You don't need to change the verb's ending in this case. Adjective Agreement: Gender Adjectives must match the noun they describe.
