Keeping clean is called hygiene! It means we wash away dirt and tiny, invisible germs that can make us feel sick.When we are clean, we feel fresh, smell nice, and help keep everyone around us healthy, too!

Example 1 — Hand Washing
Washing our hands is a superpower against germs! Here's how to do it right:Turn on the water and get your hands wet.Add soap and rub your hands together to make lots of bubbles.Scrub everywhere! Scrub the front, the back, between your fingers, and under your nails. Sing the "Happy Birthday" song two times while you scrub.Rinse all the bubbles off with clean water.Dry your hands with a clean towel.

Example 2 — Bath Time Fun
A bath or shower washes your whole body! It's a great way to relax and get super clean before bed.Use a washcloth and soap to scrub your body. Don't forget your neck, arms, tummy, and feet!Use special soap called shampoo to wash all the dirt out of your hair.Rinse all the soap and shampoo off so your skin and hair are squeaky clean.Dry off with a big, fluffy towel.
