  • Differentiate between the pronunciation of at least 5 Spanish letters that differ significantly from their English counterparts (e.g., 'j', 'ñ', 'll', 'r', 'v'), as demonstrated by correctly identifying them in a listening comprehension exercise with 80% accuracy.
  • Apply knowledge of Spanish alphabet pronunciation to accurately spell at least 3 out of 4 provided Spanish words aloud, as assessed through a spelling bee style activity.
  • Compare and contrast the pronunciation of at least three Spanish letters (e.g., 'b' vs. 'v', 'c' before 'e'/'i' vs. 'a'/'o'/'u') with their closest English counterparts, explaining the differences in articulation and sound with at least 75% accuracy, as determined by a short oral presentation.

The Quiet 'H' (La Hache Silenciosa) The letter 'H' makes no sound. It is silent. 🤫 When you see the letter 'H' at the beginning of a word, just pretend it's not there.
