Reflexive Verb: Preocuparse por
me preocupo, te preocupas, se preocupa, nos preocupamos, se preocupan + 'por'
Use this structure to express that someone is worried about or cares about something. The reflexive pronoun (me, te, se, nos) shows the feeling is directed at the person themselves. Always follow it with the preposition 'por'.
Direct Object Pronouns (DOPs)
lo (it, him), la (it, her), los (them), las (them). Place BEFORE the conjugated verb.
Use DOPs to replace a noun that directly receives the action of the verb. This avoids repetition. For example, instead of saying 'Yo reciclo el plástico', you can say 'Yo lo reciclo'.
