Direct Object Pronouns (DOPs)
lo (it, him - masculine), la (it, her - feminine), los (them - masculine), las (them - feminine)
These words replace the noun that directly receives the action of the verb. They are placed BEFORE the conjugated verb. For example, instead of saying 'Yo reciclo el papel', you can say 'Yo lo reciclo'.
Preterite Tense for -AR Verbs
yo (-é), tú (-aste), él/ella/usted (-ó), nosotros (-amos), ellos/ellas/ustedes (-aron)
Use the preterite tense to talk about actions that were completed in the past. For example, 'Ayer, yo reciclé' means 'Yesterday, I recycled'.
