Using Reflexive Verbs for Routines
Reflexive Pronoun (me, te, se, nos, se) + Conjugated Verb
When describing what you do to yourself as part of a routine (waking up, showering, getting dressed), place the correct reflexive pronoun before the conjugated verb. For example, 'Yo me despierto' (I wake up).
Placing Direct Object Pronouns
Direct Object Pronoun (lo, la, los, las) + Conjugated Verb
To avoid repeating a noun, replace it with a pronoun that matches its gender and number. This pronoun almost always goes directly before the conjugated verb. For example, '¿Compraste la camiseta?' -> 'Sí, la compré'.
