Adjectives must match the gender of the noun they describe. If a noun is feminine (like 'la casa'), the adjective often ends in '-a'. If a noun is masculine (like 'el dormitorio'), the adjective often ends in '-o'.
Use this rule whenever you use a describing word. Look at the noun first to decide which adjective ending to use. For example, 'casa' is feminine, so you say 'la casa bonita'. 'Dormitorio' is masculine, so you say 'el dormitorio bonito'.

To say what a house has, use the phrase 'Mi casa tiene...' followed by the noun.
