Adjective Agreement: Gender & Number
Adjectives must match the gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural) of the noun they describe.
If the noun is masculine and singular, like 'el libro', the adjective must also be masculine and singular, like 'rojo'. If the noun is feminine and plural, like 'las sillas', the adjective must be too, like 'pequeñas'.
Adjective Placement
In Spanish, descriptive adjectives usually go AFTER the noun.
Instead of saying 'the red book', we say 'the book red' ('el libro rojo'). This is a very common pattern in Spanish.
Present Tense -AR Verb Endings
Yo -> -o | Tú -> -as | Él/Ella/Usted -> -a
