Present Tense of -AR Verbs (Yo, Nosotros)
For 'yo' (I), drop the -AR and add -o. For 'nosotros' (we), drop the -AR and add -amos.
Use this pattern for regular -AR verbs like 'comprar' (to buy), 'necesitar' (to need), and 'pagar' (to pay) when talking about yourself or yourself with others. 'Yo compro' means 'I buy'. 'Nosotros compramos' means 'We buy'.
Adjective Gender Agreement
If a noun is feminine (often ends in -a, like 'manzana'), its adjective should also be feminine (end in -a). If a noun is masculine (often ends in -o, like 'plátano'), its adjective should also be masculine (end in -o).
