Grammar Rules & Patterns

Using 'Tiene' (It has) El/La [toy] + tiene + [body part]. Use this pattern to say what a toy has. 'Tiene' means 'has'. Using 'Mi' (My) Mi [toy] + tiene... Use 'mi' before your toy's name to show it belongs to you. 'Mi' means 'my'. The Word's 'Friend' (Articles) Use 'la' for singular girl words (cabeza, nariz, boca). Use 'los' for plural boy words (ojos, pies). In Spanish, words have a friend that comes before them, like 'la' or 'los'. Always say them together!
