The Story

Sofia, who is 9, wanted a special art kit with 100 different colored pencils. It cost more than all her savings combined. Sofia was really good at making colorful friendship bracelets and often made them for her friends for free. Her aunt saw her bracelets and had an idea. "These are amazing, Sofia," her aunt said. "I bet people at the neighborhood market would love these." Together, they gathered her best bracelets and set up a small table. At first, Sofia was nervous. But then, a few people stopped, and they loved her designs. By the end of the day, she had sold 15 bracelets. She earned enough for the art kit and even had a little extra money left over. Sofia realized that a skill she had for fun could also help her reach her goals.
