Key Rules & Conventions
The Capital Letter Rule 🅰️
A statement always starts with a capital letter.
When you write a telling sentence, make the very first letter a big one.
The Period Rule 🛑
A statement always ends with a period (.).
When you are done telling something, put a little dot at the end to stop.
The Telling Rule 🗣️
A statement tells information. It does not ask a question.
If the sentence gives you a fact, it's a statement. If it asks you something, it's not.
