Key Rules & Conventions

The Period Rule Telling Sentence → Period (.) If a sentence just tells you something, put a period at the end. The Question Mark Rule Asking Sentence → Question Mark (?) If a sentence asks something, put a question mark at the end. The Exclamation Point Rule Exciting Sentence → Exclamation Point (!) If a sentence shows a big feeling, put an exclamation point at the end.
