What & Why

Motivation is the reason you do something. When it comes to being active, there are two main types:Intrinsic Motivation: This comes from within you. You do the activity because you genuinely enjoy it, it feels good, or you find it satisfying. It’s about the fun of doing it!Extrinsic Motivation: This comes from outside sources. You do the activity to earn a reward, avoid a punishment, meet a deadline, or win approval from others. Both types can get you moving, but connecting with your intrinsic 'why' often leads to a lifelong love of activity.
