What & Why
A warm-up is a set of gentle movements you do before you play hard, run, or do sports. Think of it like waking up your muscles! We warm up to keep our bodies safe from ouchies, like a pulled muscle. It also helps us run faster, jump higher, and play our best!

Example 1 — Marching Like a Toy Soldier
This move wakes up your legs and gets your heart ready!Stand up tall and proud.Lift one knee up high, like you're in a parade. As your knee goes up, swing the opposite arm forward. Now switch! Lift the other knee and swing the other arm.Keep marching in your spot for about 20 steps.

Example 2 — Arm Circles
Let's get those arms and shoulders ready for throwing and swinging!Stand with your feet a little bit apart.Hold your arms straight out to your sides, like an airplane.Start making small circles with your arms going forward. After 10 circles, make 10 bigger circles. Now, do it again but make the circles go backward!
