What & Why

Sharing means letting someone else use something that is yours for a little while. Taking turns means we wait patiently for our chance to do something, like go down the slide or play a game. Why do we do this? Because it is kind, it makes our friends feel happy and included, and it makes games and playtime fair for everyone!

You can have a turn after I count to 20."You share: You bounce the ball 20 times, then happily hand it to Maya.Maya plays: She has fun bouncing the ball.Switch back: When she is done, she gives it back and says, "Thank you!" Now you can play together!
