Example 1 — Freeze Tag Fix
The Game: Regular Tag.The Problem: The person who is 'It' keeps chasing only their best friend. Other players feel left out.Making a New Rule Together:Talk: The players stop and talk. They agree it's not fun when only two people are running.Suggest: Someone says, "What if we play Freeze Tag instead?"Agree: Everyone agrees it's a good idea.New Rule: "When you get tagged, you freeze in place. Another player who is not 'It' can un-tag you to set you free!"The Result: Now, 'It' has to tag different people, and everyone is involved in running and un-freezing their friends. The game is fun for the whole group!

Example 2 — Fair Ball Toss
The Game: Tossing a ball in a circle. The Problem: A few friends are only tossing the ball back and forth to each other. Some kids in the circle never get a turn.Making a New Rule Together:Talk: A player says, "I haven't had a turn yet." The group talks about how to make it more fair.Suggest: A friend suggests, "You can't throw it to the person right next to you."Agree: Everyone nods and says, "Okay!"New Rule: "You must toss the ball to someone across the circle from you."The Result: The ball now travels all around the circle, and everyone gets many chances to throw and catch.
