Our bodies love to move! When we run, jump, and play, we are making our hearts strong and our muscles powerful. Moving every day helps us have lots of energy for school and fun with friends. It's like giving your body a big, happy hug!

Example 1 — Awesome Animal Walks

Let's move like animals! Find a safe, open space and try these:Bear Walk: Place your hands and feet on the floor. Lift your bottom up high and walk forward like a big bear.Crab Walk: Sit down. Place your hands on the floor behind you and your feet flat in front of you. Lift your tummy up and walk sideways. Click your fingers like crab claws!Frog Jump: Squat down low like a frog. Place your hands on the floor between your feet. Leap up and forward, saying "Ribbit!" Land back in your squat.

Example 2 — Super Silly Jumps

Jumping is a great way to get your heart pumping! Try these silly jumps:Star Jump: Start with your feet together and arms at your sides. Jump up and spread your arms and legs out wide to make a star shape in the air! Land softly with your feet together again.Tuck Jump: Jump straight up and try to pull your knees up to your chest. Give them a quick hug in the air!Pencil Jump: Keep your body as straight and tall as a pencil. Jump straight up and down without bending.
