No Capitalization for Months
Los meses del año no se escriben con mayúscula inicial en español.
Unlike in English, the names of months in Spanish are treated as common nouns and are not capitalized unless they are at the beginning of a sentence.
Using 'en' for 'in'
Usa la preposición 'en' para indicar que algo sucede en un mes específico.
When you want to say that an event happens 'in' a certain month, you always use the preposition 'en'. For example, 'in May' is 'en mayo'.
Date Formation
el [número] de [mes] de [año]
To write a full date, use the article 'el' before the number, followed by 'de' and the month. For example, 'May 5th' is 'el cinco de mayo'....
