Informal 'Tú' Form
Always use the 'tú' form for verbs and pronouns when writing to a friend.
Using 'tú' shows familiarity and friendship. For example, you would ask '¿Cómo estás?' (How are you?) instead of the formal '¿Cómo está usted?'.
Direct Object Pronoun Placement
Direct object pronouns (me, te, lo, la, nos, los, las) go directly BEFORE the conjugated verb.
When you want to replace a noun with a pronoun, like replacing 'el libro' with 'it' (lo), the pronoun comes first. For example: '¿Leíste el libro?' -> 'Sí, lo leí.' (Yes, I read it.)
