The Exclusive Club of Three In the entire Spanish imperfect tense, only three verbs are irregular: SER, IR, and VER. This is the most important rule. If the verb is not ser, ir, or ver, it will be conjugated regularly in the imperfect. Memorize these three, and you have mastered all imperfect irregulars.
