Core Formulas
The Full Frame Rule
1 full frame = 10
When you see a ten frame that is all filled up, you know it is 10. You don't even have to count!
The Making 10 Rule
(filled spots) + (empty spots) = 10
The counters you have plus the empty boxes you need always add up to 10. This is a number pair!
The Top Row Rule
1 full top row = 5
When the whole top row is full, you know you have 5. This helps you count faster!
