Key Rules & Conventions

The 'One' and 'Body' Rule Words ending in '-one' or '-body' get a verb with an 's'. Use this for words like everyone, someone, no one, and everybody. The 's' on the verb shows it's just one group. The 'Is' Rule for Teams Team words use the verb 'is', not 'are'. Remember, team words are treated as one thing. One thing 'is' something. For example, 'Everyone is here.' ✅
