The Smile Rule If the mouth goes UP, then the face is HAPPY. Look at the mouth. If it looks like a little hill, it's a smile. The Frown Rule If the mouth goes DOWN, then the face is SAD. Look at the mouth. If it looks like a little valley, it's a frown. The Compare Rule Look at two faces. Are their mouths the same or different? Use this rule to decide if two faces show the same feeling.
