Subjunctive with Verbs of Influence/Desire
Verbo de influencia (presente) + 'que' + Sujeto 2 + Verbo (presente de subjuntivo)
Use this structure when you want to express a wish, desire, or suggestion about what color something should be. The key is having two different subjects in the main clause and the subordinate clause. Common verbs: querer, desear, preferir, sugerir.
Agreement for Color Adjectives
Sustantivo (género, número) + Verbo 'ser' + Adjetivo de color (concordando en género y número)
Always match the ending of standard color adjectives (-o/-a/-os/-as) to the noun. Remember that colors ending in -e or a consonant only change for number (-es), and noun-derived colors (naranja, rosa) are invariable.
