Using the Verb 'Doler'
A + [Indirect Object Pronoun] + duele/duelen + [Singular/Plural Body Part]
This structure is used to express what hurts. The verb 'doler' works like 'gustar'. Use 'duele' for singular nouns (la cabeza) and 'duelen' for plural nouns (los pies). The indirect object pronoun (me, te, le, nos, os, les) indicates who is experiencing the pain.
Subjunctive with Verbs of Influence
[Subject 1] + [Verb of Influence in Indicative] + que + [Subject 2] + [Verb in Present Subjunctive]
When a person recommends, suggests, insists, or wants another person to do something, the second verb must be in the subjunctive. Key verbs include: recomendar, sugerir, aconsejar, insistir en, querer. There must be a change of subject....
