The Plural Subject Rule Plural Subject + Reciprocal Pronoun + Conjugated Verb A reciprocal action can only happen if there are two or more people involved. This means the subject of your sentence must be plural, like 'nosotros', 'ellos', 'mis amigos', or 'Tú y yo'. Pronoun-Subject Agreement nosotros/as -> nos | vosotros/as -> os | ellos/as/ustedes -> se The reciprocal pronoun must always match the subject of the sentence. Think of them as matching pairs that always go together. Pronoun Placement Rule The reciprocal pronoun always goes directly BEFORE the conjugated verb.
