Regular Verb Formation
Infinitivo + Terminación Condicional (-ía, -ías, -ía, -íamos, -íais, -ían)
To form the conditional for any regular verb, you start with the full infinitive (do not remove the -ar, -er, or -ir) and add the correct ending based on the subject. All verb types (-ar, -er, -ir) use the exact same endings.

yo: -ía | tú: -ías | él/ella/usted: -ía | nosotros/as: -íamos | vosotros/as: -íais | ellos/ellas/ustedes: -ían
These are the only endings you need for the conditional tense. Memorize them! Notice that the 'yo' and 'él/ella/usted' forms are the same.
Common Irregular Stems
Some verbs have a special stem in the conditional. For example: hacer -> har-, poder -> podr-, tener -> tendr-, decir -> dir...
