Formación de Verbos -AR Raíz + terminación (-aba, -abas, -aba, -ábamos, -abais, -aban) For any regular verb that ends in -ar, first find the stem by removing -ar. Then, add the correct imperfect ending based on the subject. Formación de Verbos -ER e -IR Raíz + terminación (-ía, -ías, -ía, -íamos, -íais, -ían) For any regular verb that ends in -er or -ir, find the stem by removing the ending. Then, add the correct imperfect ending. Note that all of these endings have an accent on the 'i'.
