Grammar Rules & Patterns

The 'Tengo' Sentence Pattern Tengo + [number] + [body part] Use this pattern to say how many of a body part you have. Start with 'Tengo', add the number, then the body part word. Using Numbers 'Uno/Una' and 'Dos' Use 'dos' for two things. Use 'una' for one thing if the word ends in '-a' (like boca, nariz, oreja). In Spanish, numbers can change a little. 'Dos' is easy for two. For one, we often use 'una' for girl words (ending in -a).
