No Capital Letters
sábado, domingo
In Spanish, we do not use a capital letter for days of the week. They are always lowercase.
Using 'el' for 'on'
el sábado, el domingo
To say you do something 'on Saturday', you say 'el sábado'. 'El' means 'the' but here it means 'on'.
The Accent Mark
sá-ba-do
Sábado has a little mark called an accent on the 'á'. This tells us to say that part louder.
