The 'I Wear' Sentence Pattern
Llevo + un/una + [clothing item]
To say what you are wearing, always start with 'Llevo'. Then add the little word 'un' or 'una' and the clothing word.
The Color Rule 🎨
Llevo + un/una + [clothing item] + [color]
In Spanish, the color word comes AFTER the clothing word. It's like saying 'I wear a t-shirt red'.
Choosing 'un' or 'una'
Use 'una' for words ending in -a. Use 'un' for words ending in -o.
Listen for the last sound! Camiset'a' uses 'una'. Zapat'o' uses 'un'. Your teacher will help you learn them!
