Finding the Rule (Adding)
Rule = Second Number - First Number
To find the rule, look at two numbers next to each other. Subtract the first from the second to see the jump size. πββοΈ
Finding the Missing Number
Missing Number = Previous Number + Rule
Once you know the rule, add it to the number right before the blank space to find the answer. β
Finding the Rule (Subtracting)
Rule = First Number - Second Number
If numbers get smaller, subtract the second number from the first to find the backward jump. βͺ
