Finding Elapsed Time End Time - Start Time = Elapsed Time To find how much time passed, find the difference between the end and start times. Finding the End Time Start Time + Elapsed Time = End Time To find when something will finish, add the elapsed time to the start time. The Clock Jump Method Count the hour jumps first, then the minute jumps. Use a clock. Count the big jumps for hours. Then count the small jumps for minutes.
