The Ending is the Same
Rhyming words have the same ending sound.
Listen to the end of a word. If another word has the same end, they rhyme!
The Beginning is Different
Change the first letter to make a new rhyming word.
Take 'hot'. Change the 'h' to a 'p'. Now you have 'pot'! They rhyme.
Use Your Ears 👂
The best way to find a rhyme is to listen.
Say the words out loud. Do they sound the same at the end? Yes? They rhyme!
