Start with a Capital Sentences always start with a capital letter. Look for the big letter. That is where the sentence begins! End with a Period Sentences end with a period (.). When you see the dot, you know the idea is finished. Take a little pause. Spaces Between Words Put a finger space between each word. Spaces help us see that 'Iseethecat' is really four words: 'I see the cat'.
