Key Rules & Conventions
The 'They' Rule
Plural Noun (not you) ➡️ They
If the plural noun is doing the action, replace it with 'they'.
The 'We' Rule
Plural Noun (with 'I' or 'me') ➡️ We
If you are part of the group doing the action, replace the group with 'we'.
The 'After the Action' Rule
Action Word + Plural Noun ➡️ Action Word + them / us
If the plural noun comes after the verb, use 'them' or 'us'.
